Procédure détaillée de traduction 2.1. Validation et enregistrement de la commande Nous combinons différentes méthodes pour l’évaluation et l’acceptation des textes à traduire. Dans un premier temps, nous procédons à l’évaluation des aspects formels et techniques du travail à effectuer, à savoir : la vérification de la compatibilité des textes à traduire avec les exigences formulées dans les instructions de traduction concernant l’ensemble de la commande et des instructions particulières relatives à un ou plusieurs des documents à traduire, l’examen attentif des instructions de traduction générales et particulières pour nous assurer (1) d’avoir la compétence nécessaire pour exécuter le service demandé compte tenu de sa nature, du volume et du délai du travail à effectuer et de l’objet/la destination du texte à traduire, et (2) de disposer des moyens nous permettant de livrer la ou les traductions aux formats de fichiers requis et de pouvoir respecter les consignes particulières relatives à la mise en page, à la livraison et/ou à l’utilisation d’un logiciel de mémoire de traduction. Traduction et gestion terminologique Le chef de projet affecte le travail au(x) traducteur(s) dédié(s). Il fait parvenir au(x) traducteur(s) le document pour traduction ainsi que les supports d’aides au travail : instructions précises (glossaire particulier, style, …), et le délai à respecter. Ce délai est plus court que le délai de livraison laissant place au temps de révision et / ou de relecture. Le traducteur effectue le travail en assurant le respect du document initial (traduction de l'intégralité du texte, le respect de la mise en page du texte original, le respect des règles orthographiques et grammaticales en vigueur dans la langue cible. Le traducteur relit et corrige son travail. Nos traductions standards incluent : Une révision linguistique approfondie (relecture comparée du texte source et du texte cible), pour vérifier, entre autres, si le texte cible est une traduction fidèle, précise et cohérente du texte source. Si le texte traduit est destiné à la publication, la traduction est relue et corrigée par le relecteur correcteur professionnel, de manière à être exploitable en l’état, sans que le client n’ait besoin de la modifier. Prise en compte des retours du client et mise à jour du glossaire Le chef de projet livre le document traduit au format numérique sous sa forme initiale (fichier Word, ou autre...) ou n’importe quel autre format souhaité, puis le service concerné valide, ou ce service apporte des commentaires. Dans le dernier cas, le chef de projet prend connaissance des commentaires et transmet les éléments et consignes afin qu'un autre traducteur-réviseur expert corrige la traduction après avoir effectué une double relecture : relecture du texte livré et du texte annoté par le client. Ensuite, il nous donnera son rapport et nous pourrons ainsi décider des mesures correctives à appliquer. Des commentaires jusqu’à la révision, la correction et la livraison du document, nous nous engageons à ne pas dépasser 24h. Le chef de projet enrichit et/ou modifie le glossaire spécifique après chaque projet, en prenant note des préférences terminologiques ou stylistiques communiquées par le client afin d’adapter nos futurs travaux de traduction à ses exigences. 4.
